Livo Ride Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using Livo Ride services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.

1. About Livo Ride

Livo Ride is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers through mobile applications and related services. Livo Ride provides a marketplace that facilitates transportation services but does not itself provide transportation services.

2. Eligibility

To use Livo Ride, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Maintain a valid account.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You agree to notify Livo Ride immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Livo Ride reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Ride Booking Services

Riders may request transportation services through the Livo Ride platform. Drivers may accept, reject, or cancel ride requests based on availability.

Estimated fares, routes, and arrival times are provided for convenience and may vary depending on traffic, weather, road conditions, and other factors.

5. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers using Livo Ride agree to:

  • Maintain valid driving licenses.
  • Provide accurate vehicle information.
  • Comply with all traffic laws.
  • Maintain safe and roadworthy vehicles.
  • Treat passengers respectfully.
  • Maintain required permits and registrations.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations.
  • Behave respectfully toward drivers.
  • Pay applicable fares and charges.
  • Follow applicable laws and regulations.
  • Avoid damaging vehicles.
  • Not engage in unlawful conduct.

7. Payments

Users agree to pay all applicable fares, service fees, taxes, tolls, waiting charges, cancellation fees, and other charges associated with their rides.

Payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • Debit Cards
  • Credit Cards
  • Digital Wallets
  • Bank Transfers
  • Other approved payment methods

8. Dynamic Pricing

Livo Ride may implement dynamic pricing based on demand, traffic conditions, weather conditions, special events, driver availability, and operational factors.

Users will be shown applicable pricing before confirming a ride whenever possible.

9. Cancellation Policy

Riders and drivers may cancel ride requests subject to applicable cancellation policies.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in restrictions.
  • Cancellation fees may apply.
  • Abuse of the cancellation system may result in account suspension.

10. Lost & Found

Livo Ride is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles. We may assist users in contacting drivers regarding lost items but cannot guarantee recovery.

11. Safety and Security

Livo Ride may implement:

  • Identity verification
  • Driver screening
  • GPS tracking
  • Emergency assistance features
  • Fraud detection systems
  • Incident reporting systems

Users agree to cooperate with safety investigations when required.

12. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Use false identities.
  • Create duplicate accounts.
  • Commit fraud.
  • Manipulate fares.
  • Harass drivers or passengers.
  • Carry illegal goods.
  • Transport prohibited substances.
  • Violate applicable laws.

13. Account Suspension & Termination

Livo Ride reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Violation of these terms
  • Safety concerns
  • Criminal activity
  • Payment abuse
  • Harassment or misconduct

14. Third-Party Services

Livo Ride may integrate third-party services including:

  • Google Maps
  • Firebase
  • Payment Gateways
  • SMS Providers
  • Analytics Services

Such services are governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, designs, and technology associated with Livo Ride are owned by Livo Ride or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Livo Ride shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of data
  • Driver conduct
  • Passenger conduct
  • Traffic delays
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Acts of third parties
  • Force majeure events

17. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Livo Ride, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from their use of the platform.

18. Compliance with Pakistani Laws

Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Pakistan, including but not limited to:

  • Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016
  • Consumer Protection Laws
  • Transport Regulations
  • Tax Laws
  • Telecommunications Regulations
  • Provincial Transport Authority Rules

19. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation.

If resolution cannot be achieved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Pakistan.

20. Modifications

Livo Ride reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and applications.
